Important Notice: All payments made to HowdyTech LLC are non-refundable. Please read this policy carefully before purchasing any of our services.
No Refund Policy
HowdyTech LLC operates a strict no-refund policy on all services. Once a payment has been made and/or work has commenced, it is non-refundable under any circumstances. This applies to, but is not limited to:
- Website design and development projects
- Website maintenance plans and subscriptions (monthly or annual)
- Deposits and upfront payments
- Partial payments made during ongoing projects
- Emergency support or one-time service fees
2. Why We Have This Policy
Our services involve significant time, technical expertise, and dedicated resources allocated specifically to your project from the moment work begins. Unlike physical products, custom digital work and professional services cannot be “returned.” The time invested in research, planning, design, development, communication, and delivery is not recoverable once the engagement has started.
3. Deposits Are Non-Refundable
Any deposit paid to HowdyTech LLC to secure your project slot or begin preliminary work is strictly non-refundable. Deposits cover initial planning, discovery, and resource allocation. If you cancel after paying a deposit, the deposit will not be returned regardless of how much work has been completed.
4. Project Cancellations
If you choose to cancel a project at any stage of development:
- All payments made to date are non-refundable
- You will be invoiced for any outstanding work completed up to the date of cancellation
- Completed deliverables will be transferred to you only upon receipt of all outstanding payments
5. Dissatisfaction with Work
HowdyTech LLC is committed to delivering high-quality work that meets the agreed-upon specifications. If you are dissatisfied with any deliverable, we encourage you to:
- Clearly communicate your concerns in writing to your account manager
- Request revisions within the scope outlined in your project agreement
- Work collaboratively with our team toward a mutually acceptable resolution
Dissatisfaction with the outcome does not constitute grounds for a refund, provided the work has been delivered in accordance with the agreed project scope and specifications.
6. Maintenance Plan Subscriptions
Monthly and annual maintenance plans are billed in advance and are non-refundable for the current billing cycle. You may cancel your subscription at any time by providing written notice, and the cancellation will take effect at the end of the current paid billing period. No pro-rated refunds will be issued for any unused portion of a billing cycle.
7. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
Initiating an unauthorized chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or credit card provider is a violation of these Terms. In the event of a disputed charge, HowdyTech LLC reserves the right to:
- Immediately suspend or permanently terminate all active services
- Pursue the outstanding balance through collections or legal action
- Remove access to any website, deliverables, or assets provided as part of the service
We encourage all clients to contact us directly at Hello@howdytech.io before initiating any dispute with a payment provider, as most concerns can be resolved through direct communication.
8. Exceptions
HowdyTech LLC does not guarantee any exceptions to this no-refund policy. Any exception, if considered at all, shall be made solely at the discretion of HowdyTech LLC management and will not set a precedent for future cases.
9. Agreement to This Policy
By making a payment to HowdyTech LLC or signing a project proposal or service agreement, you confirm that you have read, fully understood, and agreed to this Refund Policy.
